Hardness Tester TH-170/TIME5100
Professional hardness tester TH-170/TIME5100 with integrated impact device type D

TH-170/TIME5100

The hardness testing devices of the TH/TIME series are particularly suitable for fast and uncomplicated hardness measurements.

They can be used for almost all hardness measurements on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. In general, the devices are used in the power plant industry, petrochemical industry, in apparatus, vehicle and mechanical engineering, in quality control, in steelworks, and much more.

Properties

  • For quick hardness testing on site
  • integrated impact device D
  • All hardness units: HL (Leeb), HB (Brinell), HRB (Rockwell B), HRC (Rockwell C), HV (Vickers), HS (Shore D)
  • Wide measuring range: 300-960 HLD
  • Memory capacity up to 270 measurement values dividable into 9 blocks
  • PC data transfer via USB to optional software
  • Adjustable display illumination
  • High measuring accuracy: up to ± 6 HLD
  • Automatic shutdown
  • Automatic impact direction recognition
  • Automatic or manual deletion of measurement data
  • Limit value setting (Min. and Max. adjustable with arrow indication when exceeded)
  • Calibration with test block in HL

Applications

Components, dies, molds, large parts, tight clearances, axles, axle spindles, frames, etc. Furthermore, the device is often used for material identification as well as for error assessment in pressure vessels and steam turbines.
